Public and private schools across UAE (to be notified by KHDA)

ELIGIBILITY: RULES/ GUIDELINES:

  • Goal: “Spread the message of good health, the creative way!”
  • All UAE schools (private and public) are eligible
  • No entry fee
  • 2 grade category entries:
  • Grades 4-5 (Hand-drawn posters)
  • Grades 6-9 (Computer-designed posters)
  • Children with special needs ages 10-14 are involved in the competition and will be awarded separately
  • Poster measurements: 60x40cm
  • Posters must be the original design and creation of the entrant(s)
  • Computer graphics may be used for computer-designed submissions (grades 6-9)
  • Subject matter is the choice of the participant(s) or their classmates
  • Schools must send in their list of participants latest by the last week of January, 2015
  • Art project submissions: submit to the MAFCF office latest by February 15, 2015
  • Posters must be postmarked by February 15, 2015 to MAF Tower 1 MAF Charity Foundation, 8th Floor, Deira City Centre
  • The best way to send the poster is flat, between taped sheets of cardboard. Do not send posters rolled in a tube.
  • In submitting a poster, the students agree that the poster may be displayed on the MAFCF website, featured on its publications and Exhibited in formal events of the foundation.
  • All entries become the property of the MAFCF and may not be returned.
  • Only 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and honourable mention winners will be notified specifically; MAFCF and the Ministry of Education will announce the winners in February, 2015.
